    At Calfeutrage \u00c9lite, all of our employees, without exception, are registered and covered by the <\/span>CNESST<\/a>. They all took the basic courses on occupational health and safety prevention and all participated in special training on the prevention of falls from heights.<\/p>\n

    Many employees also have training in <\/span>first aid<\/a>. Work with ladders is increasingly monitored and regulations require employees to be tied up with safety harnesses and to use lifting equipment (pods, lift platforms, etc.).<\/p>\n

    Working with contractors whose employees are not covered and who do not comply with the regulations exposes you to significant risks.<\/strong> Failure to comply with these regulations can result in the closure of a construction site and the imposition of heavy fines.<\/p>\n

    Elite Caulking holds a current specialized contractor license and, for your information, it must be renewed annually. You can check the status of our license at any time by visiting <\/span>the RBQ website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    In order to maintain his licence, the contractor must comply with the rules established by the <\/span>R\u00e9gie du B\u00e2timent<\/strong> <\/span>and provide a bond of several thousand dollars. The purpose of this deposit is to provide you with some recourse in the event of a dispute.       When all access is free (unlocked fences, etc.), you do not have to be present at the time of submission except on rare occasions and in these special cases, we will then arrange an appointment in advance.<\/span><\/p>\n

      By default, we’ll include all visible joints and detail the whole in linear feet.<\/span><\/p>\n

      We will even take photos that will be annotated in order to explain or clarify certain aspects of the submission.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Finally, you will receive the detailed submission, additional information and annotated photos by email within 24 to 48 hours of our visit. Since there is no obligation on your part, we will be happy to meet with you later, if our proposal is right for you or if you have any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The Quebec Building Code provides that the techniques used for the construction of the building envelope make it impermeable to air and water infiltration.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Caulking is the ultimate finishing step that must maximize this waterproofing effort in every detail. Caulking is the only way to properly seal the contours of doors and windows as well as the junctions of the various sidings.<\/span><\/p>\n

      It must be admitted that you have probably already experienced air and water infiltration if the current state of the caulking of your building is cracked or taken off.<\/span><\/p>\n

      First, you will surely reduce your energy costs if you properly seal the contours of the openings to eliminate air infiltration.<\/span><\/p>\n
