Within the construction industry, there are rigorous hiring criteria to meet. Role of the Quebec Construction Commission<\/h2>\n

The Quebec Construction Commission <\/b>or CCQ is the entity authorized to grant a copy of the certificate of competency. This document is given to any new worker who wishes to work in the construction sector. Anyone over the age of 16 who expresses a desire to join a construction site has the opportunity to apply for this card.<\/p>\n

The CCQ also recognises certificates of qualification issued by the Ministry of Labour, Employment<\/strong> and Social Solidarity(MTESS).<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Training and diploma in Quebec construction:<\/h2>\n

In accordance with Section 2.4.2.i., the ORC is accessible to individuals who have successfully attended (or are following) the General Knowledge course of the construction industry. At the same time, you must have passed the ” Health and general safety on construction sites<\/a> \u00bb. The ORC will be awarded at the end of 30 hours of training with an organization recognized by ASP Construction.<\/p>\n
